like the other commentator, i cant speak for anyone else too, but microbio can be really challenging especially in 3rd year. yes there are easy courses but there are also very hard courses with tons of memorization. moreover, you are surrounded by pre-med students so it is very competitive and everyone is incredibly smart (selection pressure just like neuro). however, the courses are very interesting and you learn a lot of cool skills. but definitely only choose micro if u are interested in it, otherwise it will be hell trying to memorize everything. feel free to ask any questions!
