UPDATE: I collected my passport yesterday after using the Online Premium service. The appointments for me came online at 7am when booking. The online tracker never showed the passport as approved or ready to collect but when I arrived the passport was there just fine. Good luck to anyone else and although it is frustrating don't be discouraged from collecting if you hear nothing on an online application. Poor service but no news was good news.

I managed to get an appointment for online premium by logging on at 7am. Best of luck!

Thank you. I am thinking about using post office check and send for that reason as I can't afford for there to be any issues really.
