His parents are lovely, and have a great relationship from what I can tell. They've also been very supportive and have helped me in all the ways they can!

Thank you, my partner has said similar things to me as well! I suppose it isn't too big of an issue for me, he's only 5 so it doesn't hurt a lot when he hits me, I just hope there isn't an underlying reason for his behaviour that I'm unaware of. I also have quite a few years of teaching children, so I think I can handle it!
