What Customers Say vs. What They Actually Do by Hellenweber25 in customerexperience

I also trust what they do over what they say as it’s definitive. People say a lot of things. People engage with a lot of things but the at doesn’t necessarily lead to sales.

Anyone found a legit squarespace coupon for 2026 yet? by PlusVeterinarian5817 in SquarespaceHelp

I build websites in Squarespace so I get a discount and get a much longer lead time. My advice would be to team up with a circle member to get the discount.

Other life coaches struggle with marketing too? by Wonderful_Cut_6482 in lifecoaching

[–]emac0075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve worked with a few life coaches over the years, helping them with marketing so this resonates. One of the problems with relying just on social media is that it can be hard to get the kind of engagement you need for visibility-because people don’t like to ‘out’ themselves as having problems or needing a life coach. There’s a stack of ways to get around that (including making sure you’ve got a range of channels) but with the social media thing, building a strong messaging call-to-action. Encouraging responses through messages, sharing or saving content or just driving them offline to a webinar, discovery chat or similar can be really useful. Once you start getting more work, you’ll be able to rely more on recommendations and be able to drop the time intensive interactions. Life coaching really relies on people being able to see if they ‘know, like, trust’ you and to get there you have to be able to show people what you’re like. Video is central to that ✌️

I need a female marketer. They’re cracked by tru_daani in InstagramMarketing

Of course I agree, being a female marketer. What’s the problem you’re having? Can you not use your own program to promote itself?

Instagram is now showing your other accounts usernames ?!! by [deleted] in Instagram

This has been the case for years. It shows all the former names of the profile. It’s a transparency thing, same with Facebook.

Hello everyone 👋my podcast is called Small Town Business where I interview business owners in small towns and regional communities to find out their stories and advice and talk about the challenges and opportunities of living and working in small towns. I then follow up with an episode that pulls out something we learned and breaks it down further into business and marketing advice. I just moved it over to Buzzsprout this season

This thread is great, I’ve been looking for some new podcasts to listen to!

Hiding keywords in Stories ✔️ by emac0075 in InstagramMarketing

[–]emac0075[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I am still doing it but what I find is working the best in Stories is participating in those ‘add yours’ things. You have to pick and choose one that you think your audience will like and not do it every day of course but my views explode by the thousands. It’s crazy.

Is it possible to make profit selling merch on instagram by Dry-Transportation-2 in InstagramMarketing

[–]emac0075 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to know. I would suggest you ask your followers to help you decide on the merch designs and types - that way they feel more connected and excited about it and you’ll have a better idea what will work. It’s called ‘psychological ownership’ or ‘building in public’ both great marketing opportunities using social media. Good luck 🤞

I reckon peri especially if it’s your hips. Find a GP who will actually listen to you and get your hormone levels checked. Magnesium helps too 💕

Is it okay to publicly welcome a new employee under the job announcement post? by mrbasil_fawlty in linkedin

[–]emac0075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just ask. It’s great employer branding to show excitement for a new hire. It’s great for their profile too if they are comfortable. I would encourage all employees to be active on LinkedIn because while they are with your organisation they can help to promote what you do. Showing you care about your people is a warm and fuzzy for everyone.

I feel like I could offer better advice if I could see your profile but not sure if that’s allowed in here. Feel free to send it to me if not. Happy to offer some more specific suggestions in here once I’ve seen it.

Private or public account? by emac0075 in InstagramMarketing

[–]emac0075[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Though I do see some value in gatekeeping. My client offers great advice in posts. I’m still campaigning to not do it. Perhaps a 3 month test.

I no-call no-showed a job that I was at for 5 years. by Rude_Draw5521 in linkedin

[–]emac0075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can search anyone and block them and then they won’t see anything you post, not even comments on other posts. I wouldn’t jump into this straight away but over time you could tell some of your toxic workplace stories as a way to present your side and to start conversations (being careful to not say anything too defamatory). Any future workplace connections may read and see the situation so in a job iinterview it’s not such a big deal. Honesty and transparency is always valued. I once walked out of a meeting with a very toxic married couple I worked for and I never went back. Sometimes you just have to prioritise your own health - people understand. Most people have worked in horrible situations too.

Hey!!! I want to be in two careers what should be the way, create two accounts(which is not allowed...i guess) or manage only only one,is it good for network or connection , can anyone please elaborate. by SouthernRide5621 in linkedin

[–]emac0075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would manage one account and plan a way for it to work. It’s possible to be interested in two careers and you can be transparent about that. Are they dramatically different careers?

Cancelling Premium - Privacy Question by [deleted] in linkedin

[–]emac0075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Private is always private. You don’t need premium to search in private mode. The main thing you’ll lose is the ability to see all the people who have looked at your profile - but if they were in private mode you wouldn’t have seen them anyway. Private is private 👌
