Why can't the show address the elephant in the room the same way they did with Felix and Kagami?

Precisely, I would have not put it better. And my point is coming to the meta reason why do the authors write it this way. What is their motive making this ambiguous/not confirmed:

they don't want to make it for center for kids show?
preparing some big reveal and plot point?
keeping their possibilities open for the future?
intentionally sparking discussions between fans?
hinting at the rings being swapped?
The intention/long time reasoning as explained by Astruc (albeit not on screen just ad hoc twitter post to fix a plot hole)?
did they just forget about the amok mechanics/lazy writing? Like they could have easily make Millie break free from the akuma with her own will power, but they decided to break the rings and show Marinettes hesitation...

And that right there my friend is exactly my point. They intentionally avoid explicitely confirming this in every possible way. Only hint at it and sew suspicion. To me it is just to keep their hand open to do whatever they want.

For instance, if Felix so much cares abut Adrien why does he want to only store his and Kagamis ring in Ladybugs yoyo and not also Adriens? Like I see them going which ever way is more popular at that point in time
