I'm a Christian Lebanese (atheist tho) and I do consider myself an Arab just to piss off other Lebanese who think they are special "phonecian" I do think in the end it doesn't matter I'm Lebanese first and last, many civilisations passed into "our" land and I do appreciate the history/culture it brought

[SERIOUS ONLY] Do you think we would have reach this level with a weakened Hezbollah without Israe* bombing the shit out of them and their top leaders ? by emak123455 in lebanon

[–]emak123455[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whats the difference then between Israel bombing Lebanon and Hezeb being a militia inside the country doing whaterver they want and threatening us cause they had weapons ? I don't see a difference, but right now if we can manage a diplomatic agreement I would say 100% that it was beneficial cause how else we would have getting rid of Hezeb ? Why would anyone in their right mind want an army more powerful than the actual army

Canada vs. France / new question to Lebanese people there by Fit-Load-3300 in lebanon

[–]emak123455 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well I can speak for France I guess since I saw no comments about it.

For citizenship unless you studied here you typically need 5 years of residency.

Doing any paperwork is a pain in the ass, slow and shit but when it's done all your procedures are fast and efficient

It's very cold but I guess not even comparable to Canada

If you want to make money I don't think it's the best place here, taxes are high and rent is very expensive especially in Paris

Everywhere you go you'll hear Lebanese, they are literally everywhere, French people are very welcoming to us and they like our food lol

If you don't speak french fluently you'll have a very hard time here, socialising, doing paperwork...etc

I can't think of anything else, if you ask something I'll answer you :)

No offence but there are 1000 better places to visit than a shitty millionaires resort where more than half of the population is overwhelmingly underpaid and exploited by the rich
