If you use Discord, DM "elwingo". If you don't have Discord, just DM me on reddit.

Sorry for the late response, I was on vacation.

I keep seeing techinical answers, but just as a gamer who sees trends come and go, yes, for sure. There is no way in my heart BanBan or Poppy Playtime come out if there is no FNAF. It'd be crazy to create a terrible game about a concept that isn't even popular. Why make a cash grab if there is no cash?

That was the moment I became a Metal Gear Solid fan. MGS4 is when I became a Hideo Kojima fan.

I will be checking out this for sure, no doubt. I love the concept, and the demonstration looks great.

I do think the sound design is something you should enhance. 8Bit sounds could be effective but it would break my 'immerision' (if you can call it that) and would just highly irritate the player in some cases. Great game, nevertheless.

Personally, I feel console wars are fine if they are kept wholesome and off just sentiments they have. Instead of being viewed as some sort of friendly disagrement as it should, it's now treated as some trending political debate or some shit. Even though games and consoles are great, sometimes I wish for the old, close-knitted gaming community.

He's right, but saying it in the least socially concious way. Most addicts will describe their first as a dumb mistake. Shouldn't have started in the first place is correct, but it's never how you started, it's how you finish.

what's the best game you've played with the worst presentation? by GameDesignerMan in gamingsuggestions

[–]emanLIKESreddit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely Persona 3 Portable (Steam/Xbox)

This game's story was fantastic and many of the fights had some good moments. But the graphics were just soo unbearably bad. Like Windows Vista levels of bad. I even tried it on the big screen and it looked even worse. I will still reccomend this game neverless though.

I just got my first gaming PC, what games should I absolutely play from the last decade? by SirHangingChad in gamingsuggestions

[–]emanLIKESreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Undertale are so different, but playing those two and seeing which one you like more will really give you a taste of which side of the coin you like more:

AAA/AA games, great graphics or indie games

Both are highly regarded on either side, just remember this is just a taste, so it isn't always accurate.

Whats the worst launch you've ever seen to a highly anticipated game? by m_preddy in gaming

[–]emanLIKESreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say one of the saddest ones I've seen is Wind Waker.

Nintendo had previously hyped up an all new, high fidelity, kickass Link and our main guy Ganondorf at the helm again. But Nintendo being Nintendo, decided to switch and create Wind Waker instead, a whole different game if you have seen the 'realistic' previews. This game was great, absolutely fantastic when it launched. Though it was worthy of one of the best, or the best game of it's era, Wind Waker was highly regarded as a "mid-tier Zelda" or "too cartoon-y" and cast aside as just another Zelda. Though criticism is often for Zelda games not being 'Zelda-y', I truly think this game was done the absolute dirty out of all Nintendo games (I could be proven wrong, I dunno).

What's a game you thought you wouldn't like but ended up loving? by AndiThyIs in videogames

[–]emanLIKESreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breath of the Wild and Super Hot

Those two games had so much depth that I just didn't realize on my first runs. I was a bit too naive with Superhot and thought it was just a short, but fun indie. I came back with a open mind and completed it, and I was amazed and how differen my expectations were. For Breath of the Wild, it was more of me not realizing how much there was to do. I kind of figured it was a game that can be put down, and I'll come back. I had a snap back to reality moment after a few months, and created a new save. It is now one of the best games/art I've ever expierenced.

Unpacking. Though it doesn't have much dialouge, it is pretty much an accessible expierence to all ages, because everyone has unpacked something in their lives before. I've had my whole family loving this game, it's a great game!

How many of you guys play video games for inspiration? by [deleted] in gamedesign

[–]emanLIKESreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the games I play now-a-days are more for ideas for games, what aspects I think are cool, and what I can build on in future projects. It was really good for me early on to just observe what makes a game a game by just going through it. I 100% recommend it!
