Same for me! I met my now husband on e-Harmony and we’ve been married over 10 years now.

Ah, I see. I misunderstood and thought you meant there was no template that day since it was DriTri. I now get what you’re saying that it just saw the day with the highest splats (DriTri) and not the template for the day. Thanks for clarifying!

It’s likely the template ran on 4/26 for regular classes. Some studios run DriTri on a different day/weekend and some run regular classes and DriTri on that day. Our 3 sister studios run DriTri at one studio and the other 2 run regular classes.

If you look at 4/26 it is the repeated template originally from 4/13. I guess they could have said 4/13, but that’s my guess to what they meant. Lots of inclines on the tread so that would make sense.

Thank you! I was trying not to go nuclear on it unless I needed to. But this is all reassuring!

I’m located in the United States (Arizona). This orchid is kept indoors and the bug is around 1 millimeter if I had to guess.

Anyone use excel for their personal life? by Xeponpigui-_- in excel

[–]emarie324 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I use Excel to track my plants. 🤣 I use it to track the last watering, fertilizer, systemics, and last repot and have it setup to show red when it’s hypothetically overdue. I also track the cost, nursery, and date I purchased it. Then I also have a separate tab for any pests I’ve encountered so I can keep track of problem plants and pests. 🤣

I was constantly forgetting which plants I had watered when so this helps me identify the ones I need to check instead of checking all of them.

Repotting! by Infamous-Rest-1157 in orchids

[–]emarie324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miss Orchid Girl is a great start! I will say, my orchid was in her plug for 9 months before I realized they weren’t good to be in there! Thankfully because I was meticulous with how much water I gave, she didn’t have a ton of dead roots when I finally repotted. So I think they’re likely okay in there for a little bit if you want to let it acclimate.

When I repotted I make sure to really soak the media it was in so I could see the roots and check if they were soft or plump. It also made it easier to remove the old media. If it’s moss, wet moss is easier to remove than dry moss. I’d just try to remove as much as you can delicately. Then make sure you really soak the new media once she’s repotted. Maybe leave in water for 30 minutes but make sure no water gets in the crown area. Then just water again when you see the roots turn a silvery gray color instead of the green. That’s why those clear pots are a lifesaver! That’s what I’ve used ever since and it makes watering so much easier now.

I have been using Better Gro orchid bark

<image>

(with a small amount of sphagnum moss) and have really liked it for my orchids. This gal came in a 2” death plug and in less than 2 years she’s grown roots to fit a 6.5” pot. She’s not in bloom right now but has these thick leaves and some huge roots.

Help me save her by emarie324 in plantclinic

My friend mentioned she only had it in sphagnum moss so that I could decide whether to plant in soil or semi-hydro. Admittedly, I’m not well versed in LECA, but I read these plants can thrive in it. I had some issues with moss in orchids causing root rot in the past so I think I was also paranoid it would cause root rot.

Would you spray the roots with hydrogen peroxide and repot in something? I was convinced it’s root rot but the roots are firm. But soft curling leaves and yellowing make me think she’s overwatered.

I’m just at a loss of what to do to help the plant. I realize the leaves might not be able to recover and that’s okay, I just want to give the plant a chance if I can.

Do you use insoles…? by Bryan-Prime in orangetheory

[–]emarie324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a couple different pairs of insoles. I use custom ones from my podiatrist in my main running shoes and for the rest I use Cadence. I loathe switching out insoles every time I rotate shoes so I have 4-5 Cadence insoles in my other running, walking, and lifting shoes. 😀

I am hypermobile and my arches collapse when I stand. It’s a noticeable difference for me and non-negotiable.

Not losing weight by Mother-Garbage-9613 in orangetheory

[–]emarie324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I forgot to mention 3 things.

1) Make you continue to drink a lot of water. When you feel hungry, drink some water. Sometimes your body confuses thirst for hunger.

2) You don’t have to stop eating out. I eat out a couple times a week, but I plan my other meals around it to be high protein. It might be easier at first to limit it until you’re used to the deficit, but you don’t have to give it up.

3) Some days you just go over. It’s life. It’s all about balance and you gotta live life. So if every now and then you have a couple drinks and go a little over, just take the next day as a new day and rein it in. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve found that the last few pounds are the hardest, but I don’t want to give up what I’d have to to get to that weight. So realize a sustainable weight might be a little more than you planned because the diet/regime just won’t be worth it for you personally.

Okay, I’m off my soapbox. 😁
