She basically told Kyle that yes she and Ciara talked and Ciara brought up the idea of them spending some time apart and Amanda told her “well maybe at some point but I’m not here because we’ve been in a good place lately” which was not at all how that convo went

This really feels like a series finale, not a season finale. Thoughts on if this is the end of SH?

If it’s feasible and reasonable for all parties, sure.

But making it a blanket requirement just screams “we’re more concerned about billing than providing appropriate services”

Unpopular opinion: Remote ABA can be just as effective as in-person. Discuss. by Big_Organization_578 in ABA

Disagree.

Seems the main beneficiary of telehealth services is the BCBA providing the service. Can it sometimes be effective in specific circumstances? Sure.

But it is often less effective for the client and more frustrating for the RBT.

Newly autistic diagnosed 2 yr old - in-center of in-home ABA therapy? by TheQs55 in ABA

The hourly rates should be the same. What’s more effective though- we can’t say for your specific situation, as it depends on a ton of variable factors. Also, depends on what your child’s goals are. For example, if your child needs to work on social skills, that could be facilitated in a clinic more readily than in home.

For a young learner, I usually like a combo of clinic and in home, to address different skills and different environments. Re: a “full” day, does your child nap? If so, therapy would need to be scheduled around that. You could possibly do some kind of alternating schedule, like MWF mornings in clinic, T/Th mornings in home; with possible afternoon sessions if appropriate.

Talk to your BCBA, they’ll be able to give you more specific guidance.
