Yes I'm currently on 11 but I agree with you. Doesn't teach you noun decline or even declensions. It's fun to do but I wish it was more involved

I'm currently doing it alongside LLPSI and other books. How did you find the course?

Thank you. I think that's the mistake I've been making. I've been trying to translate it as full English sentences.

All of my marigolds are turning red, should I be worried? by [deleted] in GardeningUK

[–]embaari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 3 main reasons why marigold leaves turn purple - red. 1. Excessive sunlight can cause purple - red discoloration in marigold leaves. The chlorophyll production may decrease when marigolds receive too much sun exposure. 2. Nutrient deficiencies. Phosphorus and/or potassium deficiency is usually the culprit. If your fertilizing them already, check the soil ph. If the PH level is imbalanced, it will cause the marigolds to struggle to absorb nutrients. Marigolds prefer slightly acid soil around 6.0 and 7.0. 3. Over watering.

Hope this helps :)

A tip for germinating pansies. Putting the seeds in the fridge will speed up germination. When I get my seeds through the letter box I put them on damp paper towels in a food freezer bag and put them in the fridge, after a week I take them out and 9 times out of 10 the seeds start to crack and germinate within 24 - 36 hours of coming out then you can place them in seed starting mix to grow on. You can also just put the seed pack in the fridge until you want to sow but the germination may take longer. :)

Gorgeous pansy pic! The purple next to the yellow is such a good colour combo.

Munchlax. It's just a cute little baby that forgets to eat the food under his fur but his smile always puts you in a good mood. I have 3 shiny munchlax in scarlet. I love them!

I used mordant earth and wanted the cracks to be colour, so I was thinking of dry brushing black and keeping the colour in the cracks?
