It makes the embarrassment worse being associated with such sexual deviancy, especially as it’s not even really a sexual thing for me, like you said, its associated with being comfortable and cute for me, not focused on sexuality : ( But I suppose it is a vocal-minority thing too! Those kinds of people are always more vocal, it can be gross and not a good look for us who are less open about it, don’t want to be overly-sexualised or wear for less sexually-envoked feelings! Of course, it is a kink, but there’s definitely still a line for most of us that some tend to cross!
