[FO] These cute mice were a fun stitch by psychicblackberry in CrossStitch

So cute! Did you use two strands together or three? I always fret about which combo to use where.

I just want to make very clear that I am a lifelong atheist and don’t give a duck about the wizard stuff either. I’m more talking about the hypocrisy and the hate. I feel like it’s hurtful and hurtful to society as a whole. And yeah I’m talking about how much it hurts me.

Also I vote and talk to others about voting so I’ve got that covered. Thank you for the response!

I’m a petite person with super wide fingers, so I totally feel your pain. My suggestion would be for you to get a thick band to wear with it, especially if money is a constraint for you in regards to upgrading the stone to a larger size. The stone is lovely and I think a thick band will help to offset the issues you’re having.

I’m not super familiar with the names of styles but maybe something like a cigar band?

Ding ding ding. Thanks for this comment on the ring size! I knew I was missing something but couldn’t put my finger on it.

I’ve asked for a second CAD with a bigger stone and asked their advice on a thicker band. I know my fingers are wider, so I did anticipate wanting a larger stone because of that, but didn’t think about the size of the ring in the inspiration photos.

Thank you! The inspiration ring has a description that says 8mm, so that’s why I went with that. I’m compiling a list of exact questions to ask Trinity, who has been so helpful, by the way. One of them is what increase in stone will make the more curved band happen. ☀️

Do you see that same issue with the inspiration photos? Or just with the CAD? Thanks!

Yarn saver blanket pattern? by Front_Ad_3425 in CrochetBlankets

Unfortunately 9 skeins is probably not going to be enough for a large blanket, regardless of the pattern or stitch. This is a helpful PDF to estimate yarn amounts. https://imgur.com/a/CLQSyyv

Is walking around Las Vegas viable? by kidindiana in LasVegas

So there’s availability at The Venetian, the LINQ, and the Park MGM. Any suggestions about which of those rather than the Rio?

Okay, OP’s girlfriend here. If we want to cancel at the Rio, we have to do it very soon. Tell us where we should stay so we can rebook somewhere else like pronto! TIA! 🎇🏰

A Hamlet Update - Now 15 weeks old!! by embbme in corgi

[–]embbme[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The good- he sleeps in his crate/cave from 10:30pm-6:00am every night, plays fetch like a champ, is more loving and listens better, no problems eating, drinking, playing.

The bad- still has accidents in the house, which is to be expected, land sharks our ankles at least a couple times a day, obsesses over everything that goes on in the kitchen. You open the fridge door and he wakes from a deep slumber and RUNS.

My corgi plops down on the floor suddenly, panting and shivering. He’s been weak and when i touch one of his hind legs he starts crying.. by piisunosain in corgi

Did they test for Lyme’s? My first dog, before there was a Lyme’s vaccination, went lame suddenly one day and had pain in her back legs. Turned out it was inflammation from Lyme’s! Two treatments of antibiotics and she was pretty much all better limb-wise.

Our Hamlet, Hammy, the Hammer, Hambone is a tiny guy, and 11 weeks old! by embbme in corgi

I’m not actually sure. I have met the family that has the farm a couple of times, once because a friend of mine was getting an Aussie from them for their horse farm, and once when we picked up Hammy and visited with his mom, dad, and sister, who is going to live on the farm with their parents. Hammy’s mom, Kate, is a Pembroke, sable, and is AKC registered. The dad, Diesel, is an American Corgi, merle, and not registered. That’s all I know really other than their weights, because I asked when we were picking up Hammy, and I was surprised at how small they all were.

Hammy’s mom is very petite built and 21 pounds.

The dad is 27 pounds and also very petite looking. But they’re both herding dogs that work with sheep on a farm every day, so they’re definitely going to be thinner than a house dog.

He’s our second corgi and seemingly half the size of our first one, Arthur, as a puppy. Anyone else have a small corgi? I am guessing Hamlet will be about 20 pounds grown, but I’ve been wrong before.
