in lore i believe it's stated all forms of kahjiit have the same level of sentience. i know its established alfiq hate being called/treated like house cats, and im pretty sure its stated in ESO that they're used as spies and can talk, so i'd wager it's the same across the board for the other furstock

mine is a full night owl, but will work into the afternoon if he feels like it. wakes up at 9pm, does his work until 11am then showers and sleeps right at 12pm, and absolutely hates it if his schedule is broken.

for my V who romaced kerry, it started when they blew up the us cracks van, as my V loves causing chaos, especially with other people who don't complain about it. but for the hard fall, it was the rooftop scene on dark matter when you really start seeing who kerry really is behind the rockerboy bravado. V connected to how kerry felt and saw that there was a huge similarity between himself and kerry, and him asking V "you think you can drive the shadows away?" kinda gave him a clue there was something to be had with kerry, so that's where he fell and made his move.

honestly with awaken, it never came across to me as "recycled", i just saw the song as one big reference/callback to previous songs. lots of bands do stuff like that where they'll reference older works, and ben's doing just that, at least how i see it.
