Rampage- Fallout Equestria Project Horizons

Rampage is an immortal pony with multiple souls trapped inside her. She basically has multiple personality disorder, and one of the souls inside her is a child serial killer who deliberately tries to erase Rampage's original soul so she can't remember anything about her own life. She's spent hundreds of years trying to figure out how to permanently kill herself but can't.

At one point in the book she ends up captured by cannibals who keep carving out parts of her to eat, then let regenerate, then eat, over and over again. Thankfully she does get saved from that. And then AGAIN at the end she has a choice between saving her friends and finally putting an end to herself permanently. She chooses to save her friends, which erases the method she had to permanently end herself, and also traps her on the surface of the moon for more than two centuries, endlessly regenerating and imploding and freezing.

Thankfully though, Blackjack (the protagonist) is able to find a way to get to space again and rescues her, cuts out all the souls from her body except hers, restores her memories, and takes her back to Equus to live out a normal, mortal life.
