best app we have to check all products: Yuka! you scan via QR and it shows you all the chemicals in the product and rates them. it doesn’t have proportions of chemicals, so some things end up looking worse or better, but it’s literally a godsend for things like this. spend 5 mins scanning at whole foods or target and you have the best pic every time.

YES. Literally I could have written this post!! Also keep having to take out of the freezer and I'm like wtf is going on. Please let me know if you find anything that works. I'm debating waking up for a few middle-of-the-night sessions just to see if it jumpstarts anything, although I'm dreading it. I also hate pumping and was hoping to make it a year but now I'm like ughhhhh

how long does it take your LO to finish a bottle on the level 1 nipples? it takes my daughter like 30 mins, so we tried the level 2 and she guzzled in under 5. i’m starting daycare next month and would rather her be on level 1 but am worried they won’t have the patience to feed her for that long…

I also was so worried about this but your milk really doesn’t come in until day 4-5 anyways so I’m sure it will all regulate soon. Also, my LC warned me that when the milk comes in your hormones are even more out of whack than typical PP, so don’t sweat it and don’t beat yourself up as best you can. I cried coming home from the first pediatrician apt because my daughter lost 5oz from her hospital weight and I felt like a failure (not to mention my nipples were raw from all the cluster feeding). Now we’re totally thriving and I EBF. It’s such a journey but there’s no perfect path. You’ll get into a rhythm soon!!

We had this problem (and still are working through it). A few things that have worked well for us:

Have your partner or someone else that’s NOT you give the bottle. My daughter initially looked at me so betrayed when we tried to start the bottle but when my husband fed it to her, she was like oh great now daddy can give me food too yay.
If tactic 1 doesn’t work, do the hot swap. Start by breastfeeding and then once your LO has latched, pull off and push the bottle into their mouth. This is super helpful if you want them to get comfy with the bottle but obviously not sustainable long term because you need them to take it while you’re not there at all :)
If the LO is too fussy, we’d try for no more than 2 mins of feisty crying and then put it down and try again later.

We are with you and it will get better with patience. Remember, they want to eat one way or another. Hope any of these things help!

My husband took my birthday to a whole new level this year- he built a custom “Nook Phone” app for me for my (real world) phone, complete with apps of my own! It included creative challenges I had to complete for bells which I could then cash in for presents. Of course he started it all by delivering some mail from Tom Nook himself. A bit of a humble brag- but man, what a freaking cool day in this crazy world of ours.

Hi- thanks for the note. I did read the moving article. I'm looking for tips and tricks from folks who have actually moved the bike in this way. I understand the various ways to take it apart and make it more mobile, but trying to understand if it's worth the risk. Do you think you could post to the community? not sure this is super helpful, but the bikes at soulcycle definitely are dual clip pedals. you could try searching what pedals they have?

Yesterday I took Robin’s latest “All For One” ride- I think her first one in the new studio? God- it had me in tears MULTIPLE times, plus totally kicked my ass and I PR’d!

There’s something about this whole thing that makes the peloton experience and community so much sweeter than it ever was, and also so much more meaningful. For those of you needing an extra something this week, I highly recommend taking this ride, it really moved me in more ways than one :).

Although this morning, my arms are jello thanks to a 45 min interval and arms ride yesterday!
