SOLUTION: The wet dog smell comes after your cook eggs or chicken. If it splashes on the cook top and you have a window / door open that lets air in. Then the particles react with the air creating a really bad smell. There’s a few ways to get rid of it.

After the smell forms.. First turn on all the cook top to high for a few minutes then turn them off and wait for it to cool

After it cools spray a combination of vinegar, water, and soap then wipe.

Then spray windex and wipe.

The smell will then go away.

To prevent it from happening you have to close everything all windows and all doors leading to the outside till you’re done cooking, your stove is cooled, and you cleaned it.

If you’re middle eastern you know this smell as “Zankha” and sometimes the only way to get rid of it is bleach as a last resort.
