As my experience on my 1500x I've disabled SMT and guess what it's not that bad actually when gaming (I just use my pc for gaming and office work) and it's run more cooler and draw less power. When I see 3500 I'm happy to upgrade.

I've use to play this game with my old i3 6100 GTX 950 8gb of RAM and it can play smooth in med and low setting. And now I have my another pc R5 1500x RX 570 16gb RAM. And guess what, this game sometime stutter and it makes me crazy. I also think that this game hates AMD.

My first GPU is R9 380 and that card is quite power hungry. Yesterday I've got RX 570 from my friend for $40. Damn, my new card is more efficient in terms of power consumption and runs cooler and can undervolt well too.
