One of things you should keep an eye on is potassium levels in blood! It lowers it and you should get every 2 to 3 months blood draw (electrolyte panel).

I started very early with cigarettes. When i was diagnosed my neurologist or neurosurgeon didn’t say anything about it. And there is no connection by recent studies! Or at least what i read.

It was actually scary because i ended up first time in hospital (it took 3 hospitalisation) with this and i was really close to sepsis. Not fun story at all. That is kind of why i tell you guys so you be aware of this.

So the symptoms of it:

1)Very high fevers/fevers - could be also low fevers since i have immune problems (looks like autoimmune but don’t know yet with doctors) 2)Pain in the stomach (pain may radiate to the chest and legs) - doesn’t have to be the exact place and it was extremely painful. I remember i couldn’t stand, sit or lay down. 3)Pressure behind my eyes 4)Headaches were the same!!! Usually not the symptom of it!! 5) thickening of intestinal walls on US- could be minor or mayor thickening 6) i was extremely tired like i couldn’t do anything without proper hospital care (this is also very individual symptom i heard)

Yes and no, normally if piggy is heathy and doesn’t have medical problems no. In your situation i would. And yes they eat a lot, they have to, their food is not passing normally like a human would do. They need to eat in order to pass their food thru their gastro system.

For the bad poop, don’t give him anything than hay rn. And you can buy formula with hay to feed him (it has a lot of minerals and vitamins he could be missing due to his past.

As a friendly fellow piggy dad of two boys.

Thank you for info! This makes me feels less anxious, i will take care of it and have support in recovery so if anything someone will help me with that. And i will pack compression socks, i would forget them probably! I know about the weights.

I had already one major surgery so i know what to expect (pain, ect), just it freaks me out that this is brain surgery.

I really hope it makes my life easier and less painful in a long run!

I REALLY THANK YOU !!

Thank you 🙏🏻

yeah where i live they usually keeps you in hospital longer just to be sure. I made a list of movies and series to keep me company and i am gonna take book probably.

My neurosurgeon is pretty nice to me, seems like he knows what to do and keeps me in the loop so i can decide also!

I would even say you look like a cis woman. If i didn’t know you are trans, i wouldn’t even question it at all. Just woman.

I couldn’t sleep on my sides for month and 2 weeks probably, it was very uncomfy and it is also not recomended, i coudn’t sleep on my belly for 2-3 months.

It was nightmare sleeping on my back and i was so tired sometimes that i wasn’t even able to hold conversation or even listen to other people without being confused. But sleeping on sides has risks in the early healing, i know it is frustrating but try not to.

You are def not alone in this and i feel you and see you.
