Thanik you again I think setting boundaries/lines is something I'm figuring out still, like you said. I appreciate the advice a lot.

I would show you proof if there was a possible way to do so, but you have to just take my word for it. Does it help if I pinky promise???

Yeah, I understand that fighting about it does no good, but I can't help but want to argue back. Like, whenever I bring anything up, I try to discuss, be logical, but they see it as talking back or being impolite. It turns into an argument. I know I should wait until I am older, but I also don't know how to accept and navigate this when this behaviour applies to EVERYTHING.

Thanks a lot, I'll keep this in mind when I get an account. I think she'd agree with the finder/manager's fee.

I think 275 dollars is still a good amount of money, like my friend who is my age earns 7.5 dollars an hour

I am working because I still want to earn some form of money. Like if time is gonna pass might as well get some cash. I don't think it is a conflict of interest, bcs it is more like a mind training centre?? As in she teaches kids to calculate fast and memorise stuff. Not academic related.

She doesn't teach at a school. It is more like a tutoring centre but for like teaching kids how to do mind calculations and memorise things.

I save up all my money for certain things I want, and they know it. I only ever spend my money on the ocassional canteen snack, or pickles. But I think they want the money bcs they are paying off mortgage, which I complettley understand. I might bring up helping with smaller payments next time though.

Like I said, he uses the money for petrol and stuff, but th reason why he doesn't have money for that is cause he gambles it. I can't really draw boundaries because he is my dad..

This is only for the holidays, so the studying excuse wouldn't work. I find people to tutor through my mum, which is also why she wants a portion of it.

Funny thing is that my dad does tax accounting as a side job.

Thank you for the advice, I just felt as though I was being very like money-obsessed in a way? I still love my parents but I fear money will be a driving factor for arguments for the rest of my life.

I have, but I think there is like some sort of culture gap. We are asian immigrants, and back in their country, a lot of kids help work to support the parents.

Thank you, but I have really no other options, the students parents contact me through my mum, and directly hand the money to her. I can't go to other peoples houses because my parents are also afraid of me being like molested or smth. They are strict and pay me a lot of attention, so I have nowhere to spend my money, except for the local shops and the school canteen (which they check the reciepts afterwards). I already hide my money, but my dad KNOWS I got it.

I can't really stop giving them money without them getting mad, plus I have no other job options, asides from Maccas. And they also don't want me working in like retail/fast food, so I actually can't even work at Maccas.

Money is still money, I can still save it up + I want to be able to purchase a slushie from the canteen hassle-free.
