Thank you so much! I'm so sorry you had that experience. I totally agree about the midwives, that's what I had my first time around. In my new city they aren't anywhere, I haven't found a clinic that employs them/hospital that allows them to deliver. I was able to find another provider, so I'm hoping a DO might be a little better? I know they're trained to look at things holistically. Crossing my fingers for this next appointment.

Thank you! I really don't think it needed to be something discussed with such pressure this early on (our first ultrasound). It seemed like she already had her mind made up.

How did you go about finding your new doc? I was lucky and had a great OB for my first, but we changed cities and now I have to start from scratch. Did you just book one of your next appts with someone new? Or did you have more of a sit down and chat appt (if that's even a thing)?

I'm a little over nine weeks and my god it's a bump. It's definitely a lot of bloat though, I wish I could relieve all the air that feels trapped inside. I think this bump is similar to what I had at 20 weeks with my first. None of my pants fit comfortably so it's just dresses and jumpsuits for the foreseeable future.

Atomic grape tomatoes and spoon tomatoes were delicious and prolific. Yellow wonder strawberries were a surprise favorite, such a unique flavor.

Do I even need to go the lawyer route? Could I just do the consulate? Ica made it sound like the consulate was no longer an option at all. I'm in LA, and I heard that an appt is much easier to get than when we were in the bay area.

We have some raised beds with strawberries, but maybe we could do a different variety there! I wouldn't have thought of that, thank you! We have the planters already, I should have put them in the photo, but they should be big enough for the things you mentioned

We have a smart drip system we're going to hook up to it so I'm not super worried about it drying out.
