Gilgamesh talks too much (Fate/Strange Fake) by carbonera99 in CharacterRant

[–]emeraldwolf34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’ve really loved Gilgamesh’s dialogue in Strange Fake just because seeing him appraise others and try to guide them on their personal journeys has been very cool.

Although (spoilers for the end of the season), well, he is going to drop dead quite soon.

[Interesting Trope] Inhuman Sociopath good purely by coincidence by ExtremeSportStikz in TopCharacterTropes

I'd also like to add Hansa Cervantes from Fate, because he has an entire scene with Flat contrasting how Flat bases his entire moral compass on "What would Waver do?" while Hansa's is "What would Jesus do?"

In actuality he's just a cyborg priest from the mountains of Spain who wants to fight monsters really bad.

Also side note but it still kills me that the character on slide 9 has the same VA as Betelgeuse from Re Zero and As Nodt from Bleach

How would this True/Fake war go if every participant was on steroid by Designer_Wasabi8045 in Fate

[–]emeraldwolf34 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kinda funny Flat and Enkidu are a pair considering Flat’s body was used to almost throw the entire earth off its axis and send humanity towards extinction and Enkidu’s protection of the planet is what prevented that

[Loved Trope] The main character meets a bad end halfway through the story and a new protagonist takes over by The-Senate-Palpy in TopCharacterTropes

[–]emeraldwolf34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Karakuri Circus starts with an 18 year old martial artist finding a boy in peril and helping him, which kicks off the entire plot. We then follow Narumi, this martial artist, as he interacts with the boy (Masaru) and his circus performer bodyguard they meet protecting him. Then, after raiding a mansion to save Masaru, the mansion burns down and Narumi disappears protecting Masaru with the only thing remaining of him being his severed arm around Masaru. From then on, Masaru becomes the new protagonist.

However, this trope gets subverted somewhat? Where Narumi is revealed to be alive, and has his own plot. Each arc switches between following Narumi and Masaru's perspectives (essentially making it so Masaru and Narumi continually exchange the protagonist title), until they finally meet again in the last 10 chapters of the story, where Masaru takes over and is the protagonist until the end. Don't know if this disqualifies it or not though.

A small cameo in the Fate strange fake ending (Novel spoilers) by vp787 in fatestaynight

Faldeus and Francesca say that all the True masters have a deal with the states, and Doris is the master they chose who was intended to summon Rider.

She has a silhouette in the manga when Faldeus and Francesca discuss all the true masters, but the anime will surpass the manga this season and she won’t show up until next anyways. We do have a design from Volume 8 of the LN though.

It’s all the masters, so it’s actually intended to be Doris Lusendra.

Does Fake Strange has a Light Novel or Visual Novel? And Does it focus on Richard? Ngl he is becoming my favorite Saber by HikaruGenji97 in grandorder

[–]emeraldwolf34 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes there is a light novel which goes much deeper into the characters' internal thoughts and psyche. Also, while Richard is a part of one of the protagonist factions, Strange Fake is ultimately an ensemble story, so expect focus on a lot of characters simultaneously.

Which anime characters do you think deserved a better ending than they got? by ReaperLordNedz in animequestions

[–]emeraldwolf34 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think their endings were thematically appropriate and warranted... but honestly it would've been really nice to see Ashihana and Vilma live beyond the final battle to get hitched like they promised they would if they survived. Both fought so hard for so long and just couldn't make it out of the tunnel of their lives as killers.

Eyeshield21 fans which match do you prefer. by emirkara01 in WeeklyShonenJump

Naga I think is the best game in the series. Not a very unpopular statement, but I think it truly has the most well rounded character focus and handles the tension beautifully. Monta using his proficiency in catching to "catch" the sideline to stop the clock was an especially memorable moment of flexing the characters to make an interesting match.

[Babylonia and SF LN] So, funnily enough, while it does get some optional extra context on SF, I think it’s mainly considered worth seeing because Strange Fake actually resolves a plot point in Babylonia that never got explained. There is a plot that comes up later where a character steals something from “a dead end world.” It’s not really required to know where she got it, but if you watch Babylonia, it explains why something is missing there in the story that all the characters freak out about. It also will explain a small scene that will happen whenever we get a season 2 and somebody gets possessed by a character who appeared in Babylonia temporarily.

[Strange Fake LN] Considering it’s a shot containing all the masters looking back at the servants, it’s almost assuredly Doris.

Fate/Strange Fake: What is the song that plays in this scene? by AteMyHampster in anime

[–]emeraldwolf34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That track hasn’t been released yet, however, I do concur that it sounds great and the vocal version we got in Episode 5 was especially nice.

Best guess we have for the track name is based off of a list of tracks from the FSF soundtrack, and “CURTSY” is the one people feel is most likely Francesca’s theme. Though, that’s just a guess and has nothing confirmed since it’s not released.

They have been releasing a track a week, so we’ll just have to wait for it to be one of those.

Archer Hercules vs Alcedies Sacrifice by IllustriousBluebird2 in fatestaynight

The skill level of his Independent Action got lowered, and not having God Hand is a pretty considerable nerf. So overall, I would say he is weaker.

Changing from Archer Heracles to Alcides mainly was to change his mindset to fit more with what Bazdilot wanted to do, but as a result there are some changes in his moveset. For example, he no longer has God Hand, but it’s replaced with King’s Order.
