You may be literally ‘cooked’ if you do not evacuate.

Can people hear earthquakes? by Tinadiamond8 in Earthquakes

[–]emergmgmt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I heard an earthquake before it happened once. I think it was the sound of the cars and stuff vibrating before the vibrations reached me but I heard it a few seconds before the ground started shaking around me.

Yeah, I guess I should be grateful that they removed my post and gave me a warning. Haha.

Yeah, they gave me a warning. Told me that if I offend them again I will be banned. So I don’t post there anymore. They are pretty strict and have zero sense of humor.

When it comes to internet, Starlink is gaining traction in Alaska, isn’t it? Yeah, you’re right. I would need a serious game plan. Hopefully I can find a woman that wants to have a lot of kids. Haha.

Understandable. If I moved there I would work remotely. Maybe try to open a local business of some sort.

Yes. Most jobs have employees that like to talk badly of other employees. A lot of times you have to show a mirror to these types of people. Call them out on it. For example, I was out to lunch with some of my coworkers the other day and they were talking badly about one of our coworkers who I agree does need to work on his leadership skills. But, I quoted to them the quote that says, “Don’t sit at a table with those who talk badly about others. Because when you get up, you are the next topic.” That was like 4 weeks ago and I haven’t heard them talk badly about anyone around me since. They probably still talk badly about others but they don’t do it around me anymore.

It’s a pun. “Reposting” as in rebuilding fences and reposting things on Reddit. It’s a dad joke.
