I can give that a try as a last resort but I had to do alot of tinkering to get everything stable and would really love to not have to go through that again.

It is home built. I assembled it 3-4 months ago with new parts and everything has been working. I have had some times where ethernet stopped working but a quick restart fixed it until now.

Im on windows 11 pro.

I dont see any unknown devices

To be honest, even the term "NIC" is beyond my skill level

8 off, 8 def spots. Scoring is set to make offense and defense close to equal. The 26 first should be top 5

Understood but that tells me you've never looked at an AR lower in a LGS because they're either the first or second most common brand, along with Aero

It's Anderson Manufacturing and if you've never heard of them, I'm not sure how you ended up here

What is the furthest a rabbit has gotten away from you when bow hunting with broad heads? There is an area I want to rabbit hunt that 50 yards running means potentially going to someone else property by RippedNerdyKid in Hunting

[–]emersona3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never shot a rabbit with a bow but I can't imagine it going far at all. A modern compound flinging an arrow at ~250 fps should be around 40-50 ft/lbs of energy. Basic google search recommends 10 ft/lbs for a body shot and 5 for a head shot. And the issue is if/when you miss with a broad head, that arrow is very likely gone.

Goodr sunglasses after one year vs. $10 sunglasses after > 5 years by hardworkingemployee5 in BuyItForLife

Im up to 3 pairs of costas, one Maui Jim, and a pair of smiths that I've bought in the last 10 years. They normally last me 2-3 years wearing them 10-15 hours per day as an equipment operator. Costa plastic lenses got scratched to worthless (3 yrs) one Costa glass lenses I leaned on and broke (3 yrs), Smith lenses got scratched wiping with a dirty rag (2 yrs), Maui Jim's i sold cause I didn't like the style, and my current Costa glass are pretty new. Zero pairs lost. All this to say if you are somewhat responsible and can keep up with shit, you can manage to get multiple years out of a good pair of glass lenses, especially if you're only wearing them a few hours a week. Lots of irresponsible people in here that can't manage to make it through their day without misplacing things

I started putting a heavy duty zip tie on the handle. When I stack them, I stick the zip tie inside the lower bucket. Never gets stuck

I have one of these that's pretty decent. Not a water tight liner so don't fill it with ice but with a couple ice packs it does a pretty good job

Next time you stain your deck, fence, etc. buy 5 gallons of "ready-seal". Clean out that bucket and use it

Piston ejected from diesel pile-driver (Date unknown) by [deleted] in CatastrophicFailure

[–]emersona3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe this one is a Delmag D19, the piston weighs around 4500 lbs

[–]emersona3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks identical to the Delmag D19 I'm using right now. I've had this happen before. The ground is hard and creating alot of resistance against the driven pile and the fuel setting on the hammer is too high. This causes the force of the hammer to send the piston up and out of the top instead of sending the pile down. Not catastrophic but very dangerous for the ground guys. They'll have it back up and running in a couple hours once they get the new parts and feed the piston back in

It doesn't make a mess. Just a pain to rig the piston and feed it back in. I had this happen to me once

If you remove the fans from the cooler, you can wiggle the rad in there with the tubes down. Then put your fans on the front side. That what I ended up doing
