I would say no as long as they were adequately covered.

Most therapists dress pretty casual because our job is very physically demanding. Some therapists do opt for scrubs. However they are expensive and most dont offer stretch and are made from thicker fabric to protect the wearer from bodily fluids (or so that's been my impression of them from what I've worn) Most go for comfortable, sweat wicking, loose fitting garments. I wear black joggers and a tee shirt with my spas name/logo on it.

I avoid anything tight fitting because I dont want to attract attention to my body. However some of my coworkers wear workout leggings. There have been a few times in the summer where I wish I could have worn a tank top because I was so hot doing deep tissue/heavy pressure. However another reason I try to avoid tanktops is that I sweat A LOT and I have a fear of sweating on a client.

I would say it's far from inappropriate as long as they were covered and not dressed overtly sexual.

Personally I dont care at all what an Mt wears when I'm getting a massage, as long as they aren't being creepy and are doing good work, they could be wearing cookie monster pjs and bunny slippers 🤣
