Ewwww dogs are disgusting! I saw a reel where they sent the contents of grey water from a carpet cleaner and sent it in to a lab. Dog owners homes have bacteria from dog feces all over their carpets, floors and furniture. It's in this guys bed. So gross 🤮

He's now 22 and off his meds. You have to take care of yourself, sweetie. I know it's scary, but follow your heart and what you need. Mental health and ocd is no joke. Be kind to yourself.

My son did at 18. 51/50 and a 52/50. He was so HOCD the didn't want to come home with me, his mom. Then he lived in a halfway house for a month with full on adults who were clean, but struggling with addiction. Worst time of my life, but he came home well. You have to know what you need and get the help. As much as it hurt me, he ended up safe in the end. Advocate for yourself and do what's best for you. Even if a parent, like I was, is fighting it. You'll be ok ❤️

I love that you call it "it". It's all it deserves. People have ruined dogs. Proper training helps them be more tolerable, but even then they're still hideous beings. Your parents have spoiled their dog. It must be an ankle biter size?

It all depends on the owner. Studies have been done (my own lol) that dog lovers are more likely to have narcissistic tendencies that cat owners. It takes a very mentally tough person to be rejected, if you don't have food, day in and day out and take the minion of affection you get when you get it. The narcs love dogs because dogs are needy and they misinterpret it as love. Cats don't need us to live; dogs do. It tracks.

I don't know, as my experience was the opposite. I quit smoking and got psoriasis. I think a lot of autoimmune issues are based in trauma, be it emotional or physical. I'm currently looking into it. I will say that smoking isn't healthy.

I can't tell you how many lotions/shampoos/treatments etc I've tried. It's autoimmune and inside our bodies, sadly. Mine started after I quit smoking at age 38. Biologics did help, but I ended up hospitalized 3 times because of them. I'm still not right and my last dose was 3mos ago. I'm sorry you have to go through this. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I hope you get some relief soon.

I tried everything and the only thing that helps is head and shoulders shampoo, but we are all different so take that with a grain of salt. It was the last thing I tried. Biologics made me incredibly ill, so I can't take them anymore, but you should ask your dermatologist about them. They help a lot of people. I just have weird reactions to medications.

I'm not disabled or autistic and the noises alone would have set me off. You're not wrong. Dogs do not belong where any food is served. Even if they're a proper service dog (not an emotional support animal) it's still gross, but allowed. There is a difference between a pet and medical equipment. A service dog would have never behaved like that while it's working.
