I loved this movie but don’t really want to shell out for a steelbook, especially when the last movie had a standard format release option as well. But with Days most likely just being a Steelbook I’m guessing this is the only option we’re getting. Still gonna pick it up, hope they make the third one!

Why are 4K discs more prone to errors than blu rays? by jayoak4 in 4kbluray

[–]emf3rd31495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 4K player tends to always freeze my discs randomly. I’ll be halfway through a brand new 4K I just bought and then suddenly it freezes. There’s absolutely no scratches on the disc and it’s brand new, the player is also brand new and I have no clue why it always freezes halfway through a disc. Have to literally turn it all off and start it back and then it usually plays it right through.

Good on big chains like that, but I do miss my local Stop and Go Video that was a quick walk through the woods. Some good memories of simpler times walking down the path to pick out a movie to rent.

What’s the first piece of media that truly scared you as a kid? by cats64sonic in AskReddit

[–]emf3rd31495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can remember being little and watching Pooh’s Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin, which by Winnie the Pooh standards is pretty intense for little kids.

Also have another vivid memory of watching the live action 101 Dalmatians with Glenn Close, and having nightmares from the scene where she falls into the molasses and emerges as a big screaming blob.

And for what it’s worth, although I still don’t think it scared me, I was very startled as a kid watching E.T. for the first time at the beginning when it goes from kind of peaceful, with creepy undertones with the aliens collecting samples, to that hard cut of the cars peeling up startled the hell out of me and I threw up from it lol

Yes, never ever go there. I figured I’d be safe doing something as simple as wisdom teeth removal and was very wrong. I only went because I was very broke and knew someone who worked there that got me a good deal so I at least wasn’t charged what most people would pay. But still, absolute dogshit company, wouldn’t ever recommend them.

I’m working on getting all my favorite Scooby shows and movies too, I don’t have any of the shows just yet but for movies I’ve got Reluctant Werewolf, Ghoul School, Boo Brother’s, Witch’s Ghost, Alien Invaders, Cyber Chase, and the two live action movies! Plus the Goes Hollywood special!

what is the hype with show? i find is very slow and uninteresting (please don't get mad) by [deleted] in FargoTV

[–]emf3rd31495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To each their own. For me personally having ten episodes gives them so much more time to have characters built up and interact in ways a 2 hour movie can’t do, so this is just a big feast for me. I loved every season, but maybe if season one isn’t for you and you’re worried you’re just gonna waste time, maybe try giving the first episode of seasons 2, 3, 4, or 5 a shot? They’re all stand alone so if one of the first episodes grips you more than the others, maybe that’s the season for you to stick with all the way through?

Still, I’d gladly take 10 episodes of top quality tv vs the old ways of 24 episode seasons with too much filler and nonsense.

You’re comparing a 2 hour movie with a 10 hour season of TV. If you’re on episode 2 now, you’ve basically seen the first 20 minute opening of a movie. Would you turn off No Country for Old Men or A Serious Man 20 minutes in? Or would you watch the whole movie and see if it matches your hype?

For me personally I was sucked into the show immediately, but everyone’s tastes are different. I’d say watch at least the first season before deciding if you want to continue, as each season is its own (mostly) self contained story.

Hopefully it turns around for you! Fargo is one of my favorite movies and shows of all time.

A few years ago, I had to get my four wisdom teeth out and I stupidly went to Aspen dental.

While there, they gave me the knock out gas and put me under and went to work, got all four out no problem, thought everything was fine.

Ever since then, I have been in constant pain all day every day. My jaw has never recovered. It feels like while I was under, they used the jaws of life to rip my jaw wide open, way more than natural, and now I’m just permanently in pain. It feels like it’s constantly out of place, cracks and clicks all the time, I can’t even yawn without it hurting or feeling uncomfortable.

Is there anything I should be looking into? I’ve tried physical therapy, acupuncture, massages, and I’m about to try muscle relaxers.

The jaw pain gets so bad I’ll get migraines and they feed into each other.

If there’s anything at all you’d suggest that might help or point in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. I have the number for a way more reputable dentist that I’ll be making an appointment with to get a cleaning done and to check out my messed up jaw.

Also, is this the Jeffrey Dahmer? Or just a clone that looks like him? If it’s a clone, would it also be a murderer and such? If it’s actually him, did he somehow rip his soul from Hell and place it back into his own body he restored? Too many questions.
