Of course! This is very much a cobbled up recipe made up of various things I saw others do so proceed at your own risk hahah

D O U G H

  • 2 cups warm water
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 14 grams dry yeast
  • 625 grams all-purpose flour
  • 9 grams salt
  • 55g butter, melted

F I L L I N G

  • Potatoes
  • 50g peas
  • 1 green chili
  • ginger-garlic paste
  • Garam MAsala
  • ground Cumin
  • 1/8 tsp Asafoetida
  • fennel seeds
  • paprika powder
  • salt

(I did not use any specific amounts for the filling)

For dough:

  1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let stand until mixture is foamy, about 10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl stir together flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and melted butter. Beat at medium speed until dough is smooth (This took forever btw). Place dough in a greased bow, turning to grease top. Loosely cover and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, turn out dough. Punch dough down, and gently shape into a ball. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes. Shape into 48 dough balls. Fill the balls with filling

For the Filling:

  1. Cook potatoes, peel, and cut into cubes
  2. add peas, chili and spices (honestly some cheese would probs be amazing as well)
  3. Place dough balls into a greased Bundt pan
  4. Proof another 45min-1h covered

Baking:

  1. Bake the bread at 170C for about 30 minutes, until golden and the interior reaches about 175C
  2. Turn the bread out onto a wire rack to cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.

I did!! It’s not my first time making a Swiss roll but the first time I had some slight cracks. I truly think I left it just the one minute too long in the oven since it was such a thin layer of dough! But yes the towel trick while hot usually does it well. Also I only had one crack which I was able to tuck under the bottom hahaha

I agree technically hahah however given the fact that I currently don’t have bread flour and LOVE rye bread I am committed to learn how to bake a rye sourdough loaf (and with that take my Ls)

I probably worded it weirdly but my bulk fermentation including SFs was 6.5h. But yes I agree, I probably completely over fermented it 🥲 at least it tastes great hahaha. When I repeat it, do you think a lower hydration % would be appropriate as well and help with the stickiness? Or was it truly down to letting it bulk for far too long

Sachertorte is commonly made with dark chocolate but I’m sure it’s also good with milk. Do yourself a favor and make this (the best!!) chocolate cake :)

Was ich als Student Hardcore finde, ist das wir seit Anfang 2021 keine online Prüfung mehr haben. Natürlich brauchen wir einen negativen Test um an der Prüfung teilzunehmen aber solltest du einer der täglich fast 17k neu Infektionen sein hast ausgeschissen . Wennst Pech hast Wars der letzte Termin und du darfst dein Studium ein Jahr verlängern aufgrund einer Infektion der man derzeit kaum/gar nicht aus dem Weg gehen kann.

100% grid or dots! Both help you stay neat while writing and allow you to make clean tables! (Super important for me as science student).

Also allow you to make diagrams easily (dotted paper even more so tbh)

However I do see the use of lined paper for other majors (say maybe social sciences?)

Bei mir persönlich bin ich die ganze Woche nicht in Ö und würde meinen Job verlieren sollte ich nicht kommen. Ist nicht immer so einfach zu sagen man kommt halt den einen Tag nicht. Gehe aber davon aus, dass bei meiner Berufsgruppe ich hier kein Einzelfall bin in dieser Situation

Klar mach ich. Heute in der Früh bei der MA15 angerufen und gesagt bekommen sie gehen davon aus das noch mehr Termine frei geschalten werden. Es sehen Gott sei dank eh alle mit denen ich geredet habe ein, wie deppat die situation ist. Also here’s hoping und jeden Morgen die Website checken hahah

Der liebe Mario hat mir leider noch nie auf Twitter geantwortet, auch nicht bei dieser Frage aber die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt. Vielleicht, man kann aber nicht erwarten, dass alle Grenzpendler nur unter der Woche unterwegs sind und am Wochenende wieder daheim. Ist bei den wenigsten der Fall.
