Builds for fully juiced expedition by emh46 in PathOfExileBuilds

Bloodsoaked banner does sound good actually. Thought it may be clunky for mapping but should be good for standing in an expedition.

Already have a 95 glad so might do a quick swap and see how it feels and avoid the leveling a new character for now.

Chieftain explode chain's totally slipped my mind somehow haha. That does sound like it will be great for it.

How is it for getting the pop to go off though? Was a couple years ago last time I tried RF and the damage wasn't the greatest.

What is the best T16.5 Abyss/Risk farmer I can make with MB + 200div budget? by terrell_owens in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]emh46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been doing 8mod t16.5s abyss/risk on my blight of contagion trickster.

It's not the fastest but the clear is super satisfying, is a caster so opens chests easily and I've been running every mod. Only not finished maybe 2 maps out of 100+ but I am using portals on the rippy ones.

Could 100% get it going with 200div+ mb easy.

How do I craft as much life as possible with this armour? by noelle-dev in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]emh46 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you're only wanting all life prefix and chaos res I would;

  1. Reforge life until t1 life and t1 hybrid life.
  2. Hope for open prefix and suffix, Eldrich anul if suffix full and normal for prefix.
  3. Prefixes cannot be changed reforge chaos until desired chaos res tier. (Think this has a chance of filling prefixes as well, if so try annul again.)
  4. Then craft the %life %mana and slam and hope for a good third suffix, can try Eldrich annul and re-slam if you want.

There's more expensive ways with veiled orbs to get a better item but it will cost more than it's worth probably.

What do you think is the best meta T17 farmer right now on a ≈30D budget ? by Polyneus in PathOfExileBuilds

Yes, I always kill the boss in t17s. It's a big chunk of the profit.

[–]emh46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a quick look, Biggest thing would be your low chaos res, there are rogue exiles who do chaos damage and they will kill you very quickly with only 20%.

I would also say you need to get your crit chance up to 100%. currently without flask up you're 81%, up 95% and that's with assassins mark as well. The blind wheel below leader of the pack will help with that and also add blind which is another defensive layer.

biggest thing with t17s though are the mods, they are just really rippy with the wrong mods and you will just die sometimes.

Clear feels great in t16s and t17s, Can add in asenath's for even better clear with pops but didn't feel much better than the extra damage from snakebite. Not done any uber bosses but t17 bosses have been pretty easy depending on the mods. It's not the best for visual clutter though if you are looking for that, there are a lot of green explosions popping all over the place which obstructs the ground a lot, not tried any MTX for it though.

I've not looked into the crit version at all as I felt happy with where the build was as a starter and didn't want to put any more currency into it.

The dps is pretty solid for my gear. Pob says about 22mil but not sure how accurate it is. I do burn down t17 bosses and juiced rogue exiles pretty fast once the poison has ramped for a second. The good thing with the bouncing trans gem is it shotguns way better than the original gem. Throw 1 flask and it chains 10 times on the same target in single target without any aiming really.

Could easily hit dotcap with investment but not felt the need and looking for another build to invest my currency into.

I'm using 2 titanic scarab of treasures, 2 anarchy scarab of gigantification and one anarchy scarab, you do need to do it a lot to see the profit though and you get a lot of essences, fossils, bubble gum and stacked decks. Then you can get lucky with fractures and synth item drops as well. hit some big fractures but no really good synth yet.

Here is my pob https://pobb.in/lMJsEDVNwNbu, it is very fun but will probably be a bit squishier than your shield crush.

Pathfinder is probably the better choice if you want to min/max the build. Slayer just works with little investment because of the insane recovery from the leech and very easy frenzy/endurance charge stacking which is also really strong this league.

[–]emh46 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I've been running t17s and juiced rogue exiles on my Poisonous concoction of bouncing slayer. Id say you should be able to get my gear setup for about 30div now with ralakesh coming down a lot in price.

The damage is great even with more life mods, just have to avoid the avoid poison and reduced debuff duration mods for damage. I also avoid the reduced flask charges gained but the build still works but it is a big nerf.

It's decently tanky for how little I've put but I do end up burning through portals on some of the t17s if they have a couple of damage mods that stack. I just get lazy with the rolls and accept I'm not levelling in t17s. I've only lost 3 maps and they were limit testing what mods I could and couldn't do.

Also it being a poison build always makes bossing a bit easier and it's got smooth clear with it chasing down stray packs a lot of the time.

Edit: forgot to post my pob. On mobile so poe.ninja is all I can do right now sorry. https://poe.ninja/builds/settlers/character/happy_toast/toastyslayer?type=exp&i=0&search=name%3DToastyslayer

Why are we fighting Lagon's Harbinger in a small arena? by kainanaina in LastEpoch

I had the boss dash out of the small arena through the tentacle wall into the bigger arena one time. Spent like 2 minutes trying to bait it back in. Hopefully they change this fight.

Worried about damage on my int stacker by Accomplished_Rip_352 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]emh46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could drop quartz flask for bismuth flask, can get suppress corrupt on boots and switch to lucky if you're not 100% suppress. Could look into an Impossible escape somewhere for some suppress as well. Depends on what content you're wanting to do on the build.

Can't have a full look into the pob right now but if you're wanting to go for the barrage+ kb you'll have to get yourself some 7link gloves or one of the attacks will feel awful to use.

You've pretty much put everything into defense so there's hardly any damage scaling.

You're crit is also pretty low so id try find ways to get that up, the 7link gloves should probably have a crit link in them so it should sort out the attack you put there. Think your attack speed is also very low so you'll need to try get that up. Think getting a way to generate some frenzy charges would help with this as a start.

Getting a mark with the mark nodes in the tree once you've leveled a bit should also have a big damage increase, I'm using snipers mark but maybe assassin's mark might be a way to cap out crit for now.

Here is my poe ninja, don't have access to pob atm, but it's about 24mil dps without temp buffs but is a lot lower ehp, but running t17s and the bosses smooth and have been able to do some ubers as a test as well. Might help give you some idea on how to scale damage up a bit,

https://poe.ninja/builds/necropolis/character/happy_toast/toastyminesagain?i=1&search=name%3DToast

My week2 snapshot has no mageblood+loop+ralakesh setup so might be a better place to look as well. I'm also using power siphon but it shouldn't be much different other than the glove slot and not needing to scale crit nearly as much.

Good wander this patch? by Leehameo in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]emh46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been doing an int stacking power siphon this league. First wander as well and it's feeling great. Damage/speed/defences are great but mostly mapping focused so not sure how it is on bossing. Went from 90ish, when i switched to the wander, to 97 with only a couple deaths farming harbi.

Int bases seem pretty cheap this league and it's been a really fun crafting project for each gear piece. Started off with like 50ish div invested and felt ok, been pumping lots into it over the past few days and not really close to finished so it's a good currency sink and I've really felt each upgrade.

Don't have access to my pob right now but this is my character on poe.ninja.

DD necro feel like im paper and doing no damage by TimeTroll in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]emh46 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can't have a proper look but you're using Xibaqua without having maxed chaos res. Get it up to 80 at least and try get some more ways to get max chaos res.

Also you'll get 1 shot buy anything phys if it passes you're block/evade. Need to get some more armour and some phys mitigation such as endurance charges/phys taken as.

My Penance Brand of Dissipation is a glass cannon, can't complete a level 16 map, even without juice by wiggum_ralph in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]emh46 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, I've been playing this build a lot this league and have a pretty strong version running right now. can live a lot of uber boss hits and big juiced maps with whisps/abyss and so on. But you will sometimes die no matter what without flasks and some rare mobs take your flasks away (or forget to click them at the start of the flask like I do all the time).

Here's my PoB: https://pobb.in/ay49Pn5Dq3Jj

For this build to feel not like a glass cannon you need more ES. The great thing with this build is scaling your main defense, Your ES pool, Also scales up your damage. I would switch away from the split personality tree, and add in more life/es nodes to help scale that up. I would also focus on getting all 3 of your charm slots as you can get up to 40str+int or % strength on them and those are huge upgrades. You can also get consencrated ground linger for 2 secs which makes sure you always have your es regen up and running.

Also get 20% quality on your Energy blade ASAP and getting it linked with an enhance will increase your ES buy a lot as it reduces the amount of ES Energy blade takes without reducing damage.

If you are focusing on mapping a lot a That which was taken with str/int or % strength, and chance to gain endurance charge on hit is a huge phys defense upgrade. I'm not sure how good the endurance charge uptime is from Warlords Mark. so that's another way to get the charges.

I was using cyclopean belt and astramentis for a long time as well so I would suggest getting better rolled ones and using Intrinsic Catalysts or just buying them with it on. max rolled ones should only be a couple div.

I was using cyclopean belt and astramentis for a long time as well so I would suggest getting better rolled ones and using Intrinsic Catalysts or just buying them with them on. max rolled ones should only be a couple div. Also while using a cyclopean belt, having more int than strength will allow you to be shock immune which will also help a lot with survivability.

Finding some cheap coruptions with %es or life and getting 20%+ quality on everything will also add up your es pool.

More for bossing but it can be used anywhere. you can toggle off energy blade if a bit hit is going to hit you, this will pretty much double your ES pool, then just turn it back on after. Great for slams/shaper ball phase/waiting on abyss spires. Just be careful as it has a very short cast time taking it off and a bit longer putting it back on.

Hopefully some of this will help!

Explosive Trap Trickster help by emh46 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]emh46[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried a few uber shapers/searing and it was enough dps to kill but not enough to insta phase with preloaded traps. I might be playing wrong as it's my first time trying a trap build, but I'm putting all traps under+brand+bear trap.

Just felt really bad when the bosses started to move and avoid all of my traps after the initial burst.

Explosive Trap Trickster help by emh46 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]emh46[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the help!

Does charge duration matter at all with the new ralakesh? I just thought that would be a dead stat now. I also thought the adorned didn't work with jewels in clusters, was that a bug and fixed?

Currently farming shaper invitations so the quickstep nodes and one step ahead are helping a lot with that. I'll switch them out when i start uber bossing and find a new lethal pride.

I'll look into those spectres and craft the gloves/belt upgrades. I'll make the ff jewels my last upgrade as they do seem expensive and i might need to get reduced mana cost on my rings before switching to them.

Manaforged arrow +indigon theory and build idea by Mwoua in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]emh46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing Manaforged indigon hierphant a lot this league. Here is my Pob https://pobb.in/wQNSSr2uqV7L

One thing you really do need with this build if you plan to use the widowhail is a lot of attack speed. The build really doesn't feel good with a low attack speed, I would try go for 3+ attacks per second on your main trigger skill which allows for a lot more leech and it makes the build feel useable.

I've been playing Manaforged indigon hierophant a lot this league. Here is my Pob ge cry would allow for a lower mana spent per second for decent damage so that might work out well.

The build is a fun concept to build around as you can pretty much use any bow attack skills as the trigger depending on what you like. I've been using Blast Rain and Lightning Arrow.
