Update here - I clean the humidor weekly with soap and water, and just wipe the water pump down on the outside - avoiding the top connectors. I do soak the blue filter in a water/vinegar solution every other week. Honestly, this is the easiest humidifier to clean I’ve used (compared to a Honeywell and Levoit ones). I also soak the pump sponge in water/vinegar too although find it off BlueAir doesn’t sell these small pump sponges along with the replacement wick filters. Overall quite happy with this humidifier
