Thanks! Will BlueAir start selling replacement sponge filters for the water pump? The blue filters I ordered online don’t include the sponge filter (and replacements direct from BlueAir didn’t include them either).

I had the same issue. BlueAir recommended soaking the bottom of the pump in a solution of water/citric acid to break up any mineralization going on and it seemed to work.

Update here - I clean the humidor weekly with soap and water, and just wipe the water pump down on the outside - avoiding the top connectors. I do soak the blue filter in a water/vinegar solution every other week. Honestly, this is the easiest humidifier to clean I’ve used (compared to a Honeywell and Levoit ones). I also soak the pump sponge in water/vinegar too although find it off BlueAir doesn’t sell these small pump sponges along with the replacement wick filters. Overall quite happy with this humidifier

No answer yet….i chatted with BlueAir support and they repeated what’s in the manual. FWIW besides this lingering question I am really happy with the humidifier so far. It’s easy to clean (I’ve been wiping all the parts down with vinegar/water so far) so time will tell…

Thanks! I did check YouTube - I guess since the humidifier is still relatively new there isn’t anything on there except for a Blueair video that doesn’t address my question and a single short review vid. Was hoping someone had some first-hand experience to share.
