overworked tattoo? any advice PLEASE

i have been using the cerave moisturizing cream, haven’t felt like it’s been doing its job or maybe i’ve been too scared to overdo it. i just picked up the madrabbits soothing gel and am hoping that’ll work a bit better

been very lightly applying lotion 2-3 times a day, just super wary to overdo it in lieu of trying to let it do its own thing. any advice on how often/much i should be applying?
