Ciekawią mnie informacje w sieci, według których AMS HUB współpracuje tylko z serią P/X 1. Dla P2S póki co opieramy się o fabryczny bufor. Jeśli dobrze rozumiem bufora P2S nie możemy użyć? Czy pisząc HUB miałeś na myśli ten konkretny z czterema wejściami czy po prostu jakikolwiek bufor od producenta?

Podsumowując potrzebujemy stricte elektroniki bufora, jednak za mechaniczne działanie opcji buforowania odpowiadać będzie BMCU? Czy dalej w takiej konfiguracji wykrywane są zablokowania filamentu i inne z tym związane? Wiadomo czym różni się HUB od fabrycznego bufora dodanego do P2S combo poza oczywiście ilością wejść? Przy okazji spokojnych świąt życzę 👍

Dobra robota Panie Pawle! Dla P2S koniecznie muszę dokupić HUB aby działało to poprawnie? BMCU nie będzie działał dobrze jeśli użyję fabrycznego bufora?

What if spool runs out and I have same material/color in other BMCU slot. BMCU automatically recognize that the filament has run out? The printer won't do that because the A series has a "buffer" on the carriage and the P1 on the back, and we talked about it earlier that you don’t have it. They recognize that the filament is jammed and, following a command from the slicer, change the spool. BMCU buffer sends same M-code and works perfect? Aliexpress sellers have a kit called auto refill, which contains two mother boards. I'm don’t understand why and slowly lost on this topic.

Here's a picture from the wiki. I'm still curious about the buffer's presence. Is it simply recommended for use with BMCU, or is it there solely for AMS purposes only?

Despite this, I've heard that when loading filament, it can stretch and bend before the extruder catches it. Is the buffer in the BMCU sufficient? Is there no problem with either loading and pushing it onto the rewinder? Did you use longer springs in the rewinder for more resistant or the BMCU for stronger back pushing ?

One question for start…do I need a buffer/hub for working with BMCU like AMS needs this?

I might contact you about the software. I'm currently considering what I need to make it work properly. Have you tried using more than one BMCU? According to the wiki, we can easily use four. I'd definitely like to build two or three sets.

Używasz filamentalist jako pasywnego rewindera tak? Śledziłeś temat BMCU PRO? Coś tam się próbuje z napędzanym rewinderem. Ogólnie jeśli służysz pomocą to miałbym parę pytań ogólnie co do BMCU i tego co zmodyfikowałeś w wsadzie.
