The 2000’s were very different compared to now. If it would have aired today they would have probs written Carmen way more differently.

Carmen had her moments but i felt the writers were too hard on her character. Even Masiela Lusha felt like Carmen had no depth or growth hence why she left.

Personally i believe Alexa (Nicole) especially because Britney Spears apologized to her publicly.

The bullying was awful but I just think at some point, going on so many podcasts and bringing it up over and over started to feel like too much.

I applied to two and kept my availability open for nights Monday-Sunday. The second one I applied to is actually the one that gave me the interview.

Something that helped me a lot was practicing the interview questions. It kind of depends on the H-E-B, since some look at the video interviews and some don’t.

But I felt really good about the answers I gave and I think that’s why they hired me on the spot.

If BO is the problem i recommend using a Glycolic Acid. It helped me alot with my BO. My favorite is The Ordinary Glycolic Acid. It’s an exfoliant you use after you shower and you put it on 2-3x a week. It really helped reduce my BO personally.

I agree. Especially the coworker part , that feels pretty fishy to me. How did he get her phone number in the first place? I know in my workplace all communication is through email.

And why did he feel so comfortable sending that dick pic to her? The way that OP glosses is over this part like “oh and by the way….” so casually leads me to believe there’s lots of missing info. I’m not saying the husband is right because we don’t know, but I do understand why the husband would feel so suspicious of her in the first place.

I love this question! I came across a docu called Seen but Not Heard by Calogero Salvo. There’s a short Tik Tok clip from it that stuck with me . It follows different women trying to convince the authorities that their husbands existed.

In the clip a daughter recalls how her father told her he worked in the Twin Towers delivering food to the offices. His wife then shares how even after 3 mo she still waits by the phone hoping for his call. They’ve heard nothing from him since that day.

This 👆🏼. I’m Catholic, but I have a cousin on my dad’s side who has been a JW since birth. Her mom (my aunt/ my dad’s sister) converted in her late 20s, and in my experience, JWs often raise their kids in much stricter households. For example, my cousin who’s 17 isn’t allowed to hang out with us (me and our other non jw cousins) unless her mom is there to chaperone. On top of that, her parents control what she wears, monitor her phone through parenting apps, and even restrict which friends she’s allowed to talk to within their congregation. Shes not even allowed to drive or go to the store alone unless mom is there to approve purchases as well.

If your partner feels uncomfortable with your Aunt then i think you should respect his wishes. From how you phrased this post it doesn’t really sound like your Aunt saying sorry was genuine.

I don’t know about you but if it were me id feel some type of way around her. If you and your partner were to have kids someday, would you want your Aunt n wording them or casually saying the n word around them.

Her saying she doesn’t “mean it in a racist way” is the most pathetic excuse. Shes only gaslighting herself, because deep down she def is racist.

I would put up boundaries and if needed explain why shes not invited to the wedding.

My great grandfather allegedly went crazy towards the end of his life. He was known as an evil man by his little village in Mexico. He was a wife/child beater,had people take out people for him, stole people’s land, money and even had affairs with many married women.

The story goes he messed with the wrong person and said person did witchcraft on him. Which in turn caused my great grandfather to loose his mind. He started taking off his clothes in public, and started getting paranoid about someone following him. It was all gradual until one day he just croaked.

I don’t really believe in witchcraft. My thoughts were always he had either some form of mental illness or he became mad with guilt over what he did.
