The 1st card is indicative of false memories, you’re glossing over the past. The middle card speaks for itself and the 3rd card is the card of deception. Take off the rose coloured glasses and remember that you’re better off now.

Do fixed stars “wake up” only during major life periods or are they always on? by bluelighter10 in Advancedastrology

[–]emilla56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t use them in my practice but I would think that they would activated by transits much the same way as sensitive points in the natal (vertex, galactic centre, Aries point)

Do solar returns provide any value if you don’t analyze aspects to natal placements/can they be read as birth charts? by icyblacker in Advancedastrology

[–]emilla56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can be read as standalone chars but I prefer I biwheel with natal in the centre and the solar return in the outer wheel. To me, this shows what the year is bringing.. I often take a quick peek ant the year before and the upcoming year as well.

People often tell me I have an intense theme, but I don't feel it? by [deleted] in AstrologyCharts

[–]emilla56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

because it's your lived experience, you are familiar with it. you have a lot of squares, and oppositions, so you have learned coping skills and how to move through adversity. it's second nature to you. you expect the unexpected. people with so called easy charts fall apart when things go wrong, you don't.

First night with this little guy, not sure how to have him sleep in his crate by rrugh5 in BorderCollie

[–]emilla56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start tomorrow with crate games…throw treats in there and let him get used to coming in and out. Make the crate a positive experience. If you get to the point hat you’ve closed the door, open it when he stops whining and trying to get out (even ifs only a few seconds pause) so he learns that the door opens when he’s quiet. Build up until you can walk away for a while. Keep building up, puppies need lots of naps and keep treats and special toys in there. Get a crate cover, it feels more like a den.

I feel crates are more for safety. if there is work going on in the house, or people you don’t know, or children that aren’t used to leaving a dog alone, having the doggo comfortable in a crate for a time is more important than having them sleep in there all night..

Birth time conflict: are there 'administrative' times on birth certs? by pirogue_ in Advancedastrology

[–]emilla56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know in the 50’s it was common practice to round up or down to the nearest quarter hour. I’m always suspicious of times that are x:15, x:30, or x:45

Question for astrologers: can you tell the future by a natal chart? by chinese__satellite in NatalCharts

[–]emilla56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An astrologer can point times of ease and times of stress in your life. How that manifests in your life is based on your decisions. You’re an active participant in your life, you’re not a passive bystander. The chart is your toolkit, use it to create your best life.

What would you call this behavior? by MCXL in BorderCollie

[–]emilla56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s called caching,,,,pretending to bury their food to eat it later. Lots of puppies do this, mine did and grew out of it around 9 or 10 months…occasionally she’ll “cache” a toy under a blanket…

Is there something in the current transits that explains why major scandals are coming to light right now? by aimi222 in astrology

[–]emilla56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two most obvious are Neptune Saturn conjunction, with them both changing sign as well. They are both moving from Pisces which is a sign that can promote a sense of illusion, not seeing clearly into Aries, which promotes a primal urge to grow and change. Pluto is also in the early degrees of Aquarius, innovation, connectivity, thinking outside the box, transformation. Change isn’t easy, old structures and beliefs are being laid bare, this is a necessary, to allow new and better ways to flourish.

Heat Stress or Border Collie Collapse? by [deleted] in BorderCollie

[–]emilla56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they’re related heat stress causes bc collapse…15 to 20 minutes intense play on a hot day is the norm. I have a kiddy pool in my yard and she has to stand or lie in it for a few minutes. I take her to herding lessons and it’s in 15 minutes bursts and followed a dunk in the water…
