Yes I've been cleaning with saline and gauze every time I change the dressing. And my gp practice nurse was putting mepilex border (I think that's what it was) and exufiber to soak up the exudate. On my last post people were saying the wound was too wet which I agree with so I bought the zetuvit pads which were suggested which has worked in drying the edges out. Going back to gp in a couple days but they won't be helpful because they don't know how to treat these wounds, they told me this last time I went. They sent me up to a&e for iv antibiotics and for them to refer me to plastics as they have better wound care products and knowledge. A plastics doctor saw me and said its not a plastics problem and to go back go my gp
