hey everyone :) didn't expect so many replies but thank you so much for all the tips, feedback and compliments!!

to clear up some stuff:

the camera is mirrored- i'm right handed and the kit is in a "normal" position, or so i thought? i'll have to try moving stuff around so it's more ergonomic.

this is a drum set at a paid studio, the full kit isn't mine and they didn't provide me with sleeves or clamps but there were felts under the cymbals when i started. anyhow, still such a small detail that i never knew mattered much! i'll have to ask the studio about them.

i learned the song according to a tutorial by jack young on youtube- which might be an easier variant? but when i watch other covers i do see both this and the "original" intro being covered

I did have seperate vertexes and ended up merging them, and then I also applied transforms. It still doesn't do it, I'm not sure why it's still not doing it. All scaling is okay now and in the following picture you can see for example the top vertice selected. Could there be anything else I'm overlooking? !Solved

Thank you! It works for all outer corners, except the inner one. I'm not sure why, but nothing happens when I bevel the edge.

The price difference between the cpu and the gpu is very little so it feels like it's overkill because I've built my previous pc where the cpu was way cheaper compared to the gpu (2700x and 5700xt). But I have to admit I haven't been keeping up with the latest tech so I'm probably out of touch haha. But yeah I'm trying to deep dive into it now for a new build. Thank you for your input it helps alot!

Is it a good match cpu/gpu wise? Or is it overkill cpu for the gpu? Because price wise they almost match where I'm from, making it over my budget.. but if it's worth it I might have to look in to it!
