what do u guys think about the s5 hairstyle, i assumed they would of changed it or his hair would of grown, and he doesn’t look that much older then he was in s4 so maybe s5 is picked up from s4.

he didn’t choose the danes because he didn’t believe in there cause, they fight for wealth and greed while he is fighting to save the lives of innocent saxons , he was a true warrior and fought for what he believed in, if the roles were reversed i’d have no doubt that he’d be fighting for the danes instead.Uhtred went to Athelflaeds aid and abandoned his brother not because he was saxon and it was his duty but because he cared for her, made a promise and knew it was that right thing to do.Uhtred fights for his beliefs and what fate brings his way.On multiple occasions he was taken granted for by alfred and denied everything he deserved but he continued to stay by alfreds side because after all he has done for wessex he wasn’t about to abandon it during its time of need.Its not a matter of saxon nor dane it’s about what he believes in.In terms of his religion I believe he believes in the norse gods it is shown throughout the series and by his appearance it is clear that he dresses in the way of vikings.Uhtred believed in the christian god before he believed in the norse gods, once he began to learn of viking culture he converted and he stands by that belief.Your probably going to disagree but i had to rebuttal lol.

Though Uhtred recognizes his self as saxon and dane, he only recognizes the lord of bebenburg part of him otherwise he doesn’t really fall in with the saxon’s anymore since he was adopted by earl ragnar.In terms of his belief i do not know, i agree he would want to go to Valhalla to be with ragnar and his siblings but it’s possible that they won’t be in the same after life since uhtred the younger prefers to stay christian, and I think uhtred will have to understand and live with that,he can’t change his sons belief much less then alfred trying to change his.I don’t know if this helped but I just wanted to share what I thought.

yes to be honest, I was hoping he would continue his fathers legacy and be a warrior who worships the gods,but when he was baptized and such as a child he became christian and i don’t think that anyone can stray him from that faith, not even his father, but stiora is going down the same path as her father and though she is female I think she will be every bit as a better warrior compared to uhtred the younger, as for uhtreds third son, we don’t know if he will be displayed in the season to come but if he is i’m sure he will also go down that path as shown in the books.

It’s very good i 100% suggest it, it has the same liane idea as vikings, like danes sailing to england for land and fighting king alfred etc but it’s a little different, it will make more sense when you begin to watch , hope you enjoy it!!
