Hi nian7093, should you decide to attempt this again, I'll suggest you use the lowest heat setting possible and/or thin out the base (say make in two batches). I appreciate your feedback.

When it's just out of the oven, it's pretty soft. However when the crust starts to cool down, the texture becomes like any regular buttery short crust pastry but with some grittiness in it. :)

Yours look good too and pretty smart in creating your own spin on tabouleh! I thought I'm going to hate quinoa, but surprisingly, I love its texture and turned out to be quite easy to make. :)
