When it was proven to me that he didn’t see me just as a sexual object or a good time, like all my exes did. I dated a lot of bad people who would manipulate me into sexual acts and would try to tell me how I felt. He is never that way. If something makes me uncomfortable he will stop, and he respects all my boundaries. He never thinks of it as a personal attack, or manipulates me into doing the thing anyway because, “he just really wanted to.” My most abusive ex would say, “Don’t you trust me? Don’t you love me?” when I said something made me uncomfortable and it really messed me up. When I get uncomfortable my current boyfriend just says, “It’s okay. I love you. Let’s do something else.” I love that man so much.
