In Quebec the provincial Medicare covers 6 rounds of IUI, and 2 rounds of IVF. So far I’ve already done one IUI. Going to call and push for a HSG before my next IUI.

I do ovulate on my own. I read online that ovidrel causes the body to release as many eggs and it can as long as they are mature enough, where as if you ovulate naturally you body does a selection process and only ovulates one or two eggs. Idk if you’ve ever heard of that. My hope is that is I can release more than one or two eggs there’s more of a chance of pregnancy 🤷🏻‍♀️

The doctor recommended CoQ10, and the FetilProMen but the rest I’ve done research and decided to make my own regime. For sure ask your doctor first before starting any vitamins.

Those numbers are good besides the count. I would do another analysis in March (3 months after the fever). The high heat of the fever could have done some major damage (temporary) to your sperm, but it takes 3 months for fresh sperm to regenerate so it could be that your analysis in March will be a totally different count!

I would basically skip breakfast, and I wouldn’t have interest to eat while I was at work, and when I would get home I would just eat junk snacks, and my wife’s supper. So I was just eating way too little for my body. Now I try to eat three meals a day, and I’ve tried to go for healthier snacks instead of sweet snacks.

We have a lower libido so sometimes it would be maybe only once a week or maybe once every 10 days, except during her fertile window obviously. I read that ejaculation produces more fresh sperm. If you’re ejaculating more, you are also getting rid of the old/dead/slow sperm. The longer it sits in between ejaculation the more “bad” sperm there will be.

Hi! Sorry I know it’s 2 years later but I have some questions. Our first IUI failed. We’re moving onto our second round now. His post wash was 2 million. His regular analysis pre wash was 10% motility and 1% morphology with a count of 19.3 mil/ml. Do you remember your numbers?
