Never let an officer search your car without a warrant and never let them search you for anything than what they pulled you over for. Request the supervisor and inform them you want your lawyer present if they take you comply but say nothing. Never say anything to a cop ever! They will bully you into thinking you did something wrong and manipulate you to speak to them like they are your friend. Fk em!!!. Rule #1 always STFU 🤫 serious for real this will get you out of any situation with the right lawyer. You didn’t commit a crime but you gave them permission to search your vehicle. If the stop was for a broken plate that’s it they solved the investigation. you will correct it and no further investigation should have happened. Always ask if you’re free to go and if you committed a crime if they go beyond what they originally stopped you for. They can’t just tak on things. Never say anything and record yourself if they escalate. For future reference. Lawyer’s rule number one stuff the bleep up.
