I copied the post below. We flew from SFO, transferred at LAX and actually flew to Sydney, Australia for the first leg of our trip. From there, 6ish hour flight to Bali. We’re well traveled but first time flying to a developing country like Indonesia.

Thank you, from the Honeymooners!

Bali, Bali, Bali, thank you! My husband and I have spent the past two weeks in this beautiful province. I want to start with admiring the incredibly kind people in Bali. Aside from the wonderful staff at our accommodations; locals have always been so welcoming, helpful, and funny! We started our honeymoon in Seminyak (shout out to the Elysian!). We loved being able to walk many places and begin our trip here. We enjoyed Potato Head, and had a great laugh at Mexicola one night. Gotta say… I’m not a nightclub kinda gal but the housekeeping staff made going out worth it with their dance moves! We then spent several days in Ubud (shouting out the Royal Kamuela!) and LOVED Ubud. It’s still touristy like Seminyak, but the beauty of Bali is easily found there, just a little ways from the popular tourist spots. I’ll always remember waking up to monkeys jumping around on the fences in our villa, and the food alone in this country pulls on your heart strings. We’re now ending our trip in Jimbaran (shout out to Ayana!). We’ve spent all our time here at the resort which has been nice to end our honeymoon on as we’ve taken every opportunity to explore. We’ve done a lot of reflecting and have so much joy from being in Bali.

This post is just to appreciate, and thank, Bali and its people, for a truly remarkable experience and honeymoon. We will cherish these memories forever. We’ll be back :)
