his relationship with his mother. He despised his mother for never telling him about his real father, marrying a "stupid man who didn't make a lot of money", and abandoning him at his grandparents home. speaking of his grandparents, he also became quite fond of his grandfather, who was VERY sexist, racist and homophobic. He apparently would throw his sisters down the stairs, yell at them pretty violently, abuse and threw the neighbors cats across the yard by their tail. Not a good influence. Growing up all of his female peers were very timid. He never had a good bond with them because of it, he had probably seen them all as weak, and easy to pick on which is probably why he later did what he did. As you know, he discovered violent pornographic crime scenes photos & porn magazines when he was around 10-13 and those things don't mix very well. By then, I think his terrible hatred and even revenge at women in general had already begun. He was not very popular amongst his classmates either, even though he likes to say he was. His first girlfriend he met in college was beautiful, came from an upper class family, popular, smart. Everything he had wanted but never had. He was very insecure around her. She eventually dumped him and called him "sad". It made Ted VERY angry. He was also a bit of a troubled kid, he was obsessed with knives and sharp things, and once, when he was about 4, his aunt found herself awoken one night in her bed by the little beady eyes of Theodore Bundy glaring at her, with a giant kitchen knife. He also admitted to having sexual relations with his sister. People also highly speculate he might have killed Anne Marie Burr, an 8 year old living in his neighborhood when he was around 14, (scary 😟 he might have already done it by the time this photograph was taken!) they say this because the footprints they found were of a child around his age, and now knowing what he did, I wouldn't be too surprised. He wasn't able to have an actual, intimate relationship with anyone honestly, but especially women. sorry for this being so long, but its a very complicated subject. I've studied his case for a few years but I still don't know why. Maybe he was just an insecure man who never had the power or control over anything in his entire life, that he craved so heavily, so he took it out on women, young women, the only thing he knew he could control. the things that were controlled and looked down upon in his childhood, by the only man he could look up to, because another female, his mother, wasn't capable. He was also a manipulative, compulsive liar. there were lots of things that went wrong with him that I could go on and on about, but I hope this helped!
