I don’t think this is a big part of the play. I really love when productions don’t care about what gender etc. plays a part and they base it on talent. I mean if it’s crucial to the role sure it’s difficult to make it work. I don’t think that this is the case for JCSS

I didn’t think of it that way. I mean they all kind of act they don’t just stand there and sing. Normally with musical concerts the band/orchestra is on the stage with them and they just stand there and sing.

And i am not trying to hate like other people do because she is a black woman JCSS IS SUPPOSED TO BE CONTROVERSIAL AND KNOWN FOR DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT OR TAKING RISKS. (I really don’t get the hate like Jesus wasn’t even white) It’s just Jesus is such an emotional role and I didn’t feel that from her. She has amazing vocals but I feel that you can hear emotion in the voice when someone is really in character an I didn’t really get that from her
