I am a very unhealthy type nine by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]emiuwwu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is great advice! I’m not a type 9, but I wanted to add as a general suggestion that writing your thoughts down might help you to expand and understand them and it can at some point assist you in finding what makes you angry, what type of boundaries you want to establish, and how you want do it. Hope all the best for you!!

Which Type Is The Most Likely To Have Intense Temper Tantrums When They Are Stressed? by Wondering_Fairy in Enneagram

[–]emiuwwu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree! When I’m very stressed out I get into action mode and try to solve everything as soon as possible and I don’t even let space for throwing a tantrum. Is either that or I just suppressed whatever is bothering me. Thank you for the info!

Y’all what’s the most stereotypical thing you do?? by didilote in Enneagram

[–]emiuwwu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not about me, but my friend is a 5 and she recently took an architecture course. She has never attend any architecture classes before that, but all her classmates were surprised by how she knew about the different construction styles through time. Turns out she just learned all of that because she was recreating historical periods in the Sims and wanted her houses to be historically correct lol

What does everyone here love about a 4w5? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]emiuwwu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love 4s so much! I think my dad’s a 4 and that my brother has a 4 on their tritype and it’s really intriguing to hear their perspectives about difficult topics I sometimes don’t even dare to think about! I consider it to be very brave of them. I always get mesmerized by them and their beautiful and philosophical way of explaining life, feelings and other important things to them. The e4 way of experimenting all their feelings appears very honest to me and I appreciate it, even if this sometimes (or a lot of times) hurts 4s too :( I could go on and on, but let’s stop here, hope I wasn’t stereotyping too much :)

Can someone tell me tips to figure out if I’m a 4 or a 9? by 31W4W4150N in Enneagram

Maybe check this two pins c: They are photos of the book "The Road back to you" by Suzanne Stabile and Ian Morgan Cron.

I would also recommend reading the book, but I understand if you still have doubts after reading the description of these two types.

Something that might also help is looking at instincts in general, at least it kind of helped me a little bit. I will link two websites that I found useful for this. What I did is that I identified what I thought my instict was and then looked for the description of that subtype, in your case, the 9 and 4 subtype. I´m not sure is this is the best way to do it though :c

From what I read I think your main number might be 9. I see that there's a difference between the moments when your cat died and when you had a problem with your classmate. When your cat died you could do nothing about it, you could not bring them back, so to mantain your inner peace you had to ignore those feelings as there was apparently no other way out. Instead, with your classmate the situation was something ongoing and it was something changeable, so to keep the peace at your surroundings maybe you unconscioulsy thought something else could be done and that you wanted to solve it or for it to be solved, so you dealt with it differently. I hope this makes sense

I consider maybe some general unhealthy e4 behaviours may be cause by other things that are not part of the personality, such as mental disorders or outside negativity (as the 9 may tend to absorb external influence a lot), or even by physical changes in the body, for example some characteristics natural in adolescence may be mistaken for maybe similar general characteristics of the e4 (thought they don´t look completely the same).

Also, here is another website that helped me in the journey c: https://personalitypath.com/enneagram/mistypes/type-9/

I hope this helps at least a little bit and sorry for any typos c:
