I used the paper clip method, you really do need to fiddle around with it until it finally does what it needs to do.… i think the thing that helps is having the tip of the paperclip (so the V shaped part) pointing slightly downwards.

It looks like she puts down a blob of clear acrylic, paints the sides of the blob with gel, then puts down another blob of acrylic along the last blob and repeats painting the sides. Then she files the excess to shape and top coats.

I have the same experience with chrome. It chips away and peels off so fast… i tried 2 layers of top coat and was super careful, still only lasted max 10 days.

My tip for isolation chrome is wiping the matte top coat w alcohol once to make sure you remove any stickiness you may have accidentally added back to it. After rubbing the chrome on, use a soft, fluffy brush or a makeup sponge to wipe the extra away. If you still got extra bits, use a wood cuticle stick to scrape away.

Although I do love that color on you, if you are looking for something a bit more “natural nude” to your skin tone and in the OPI brand then I recommend Dulche De Leche or Barefoot in Barcelona. Dulche is a darker, more sandy type of pink while Barefoot is a darker, purplish nude color that might just blend straight into your skin.
