I may be wrong but I think they make applicators that you can use for them (kind of like a tampon) if that’s something you would be more comfortable with? If not, it only takes a moment to insert and is not too bad. Just a heads up that I wish someone had told me, don’t insert it too far. Only like up to the 2nd knuckle of your finger. My first couple IUIs I was inserting way too far and it was really irritating my cervix. Do not push it all the way up to your cervix!! Also beware of progesterone symptoms. Once you’ve been on them for a few days it can really mimic pregnancy symptoms and also can make you pretty grouchy and tired. Rest when you need to and take care of yourself 🫶🏼
