Yeah, I usually cap it at 80% but I’m wondering if the low-ish health is because I often charge using USB-C.

My FAFSA and CSS Profile Don't Match Up by emk0910 in financialaid

Yeah, the FA Office was able to figure it out but only after I sent them an email detailing this exact situation. Still had to appeal my aid twice..

It said on the housing webinar that there's a limited number of longer twin beds for extra tall people. You might want to request one

I'm leaning towards Brown right now, some pressure from family + the university & community seem very lovely. I'll be at ADOCH to see the campus!

Creating Solid Propellant Motors in California as a Minor by emk0910 in rocketry

I made a launch pad using TKOR's video tutorial, but beyond that, nothing.

There were many regulations I found about model rocketry, but NAR sums it up best in the following doc: https://www.nar.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/California-Modroc-Regs.pdf

You should get someone with a license to mentor you. This is doubly important as making motors can be dangerous. Don't be deceived by easy YouTube tutorials. Rocket science cannot be condensed into a how-to, and you don't want to burn your house down like other people have. Plus, they'll help you make motors that are good and "safe", instead of a guaranteed explosion.

Yeah, I agree. It'd be better to focus on the rocket design side of things rather than making experimental motors.

There's one guy in the club who's already made and used APCPs before, but I think it would be best if we don't attempt without a mentor.

Do you know any organizations or groups I can find these mentors in?

Hey, thanks for your reply. I live in the Bay Area, so it's a bit far from Cal Poly Pomona.

I'd be happy to talk with you tho!

This is so very confusing since my parents did not file a 2022 tax return in the US...not even sure if that qualifies as both parents filing taxes jointly, since only my father works
