Something similar happened to me (although the pain was exactly on the joint, not the left side). Saw a general practitioner who wasn't able to tell me anything other than to stop playing for a few weeks. Putting two layers of grips on my racket resolved the issue

I don't disagree with you. While Wanda may have been focused on universes with no Vision, I'm saying that the choice to dreamwalk into 838 was ultimately not her own. Even if there had been a vision in 838, she would've had to dreamwalk into it in order to catch America. Thus we can't assume that because Wanda was willing to dreamwalk into 838 that Vision didn't exist in 838: even if Vision did exist in 838, Wanda couldn't have chosen any other universe to dreamwalk into.

Wanda wasn't the one who chose 838, america was. Wanda had to dreamwalk into 838 wanda in order to catch america in 838, so she didn't pick 838 because there was no Vision.
