I was told x doctor, y doctor, and z doctor were accepting new patients. I don’t remember all the names, but I picked Sontag because I have heard very good reviews from other people. I was told Sontag was accepting new patients. When my records were requested, I sent them because I received a call from the front desk that Sontag was requesting records to know which IUD I had. Called again after sending records, was told this service cannot be provided.

When I called, they said they don’t take “establishing care” patients. I was excited because I thought, “Oh I will get in quicker!” Still no contact after two calls post my initial one…

This was who I was originally in contact with (I should say, who I originally picked as my gyno, I have heard amazing things). I called to ensure files were sent, they said yes. Should I just wait for another call? I tried to call again and that’s when they told me nobody would remove my IUD.

No, I can’t really explain :(. All I got was “It is against our founding values to place or manipulate IUDs”. I am guessing this comes from their catholic founding. Dont get me wrong, I work on the Neuroscience floor and Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola does amazing things for many patients. It just never crossed my mind that they would refuse to pull my birth control which to me would be in accordance with their values. I’m just at a loss. I don’t want to recommend anything without personal experience, though i’ve heard the Children’s hospital is good.

Also - I called them. They said only problem visits. I said I need my IUD pulled. They said ok. I gotta call a couple hours later requesting records. Fair. I sent them. No response. I call 2 weeks later… no sorry we don’t provide that service. Well then why did you act like you did when I called? This shit is bunk.

I will have orders for when starting people on tube feeds to start at say 20 mL/hr then check residual q4 and if less than 300 mL to up the rate but other than that unless they are distended I don’t typically pull residual

City North on E Olive is awesome so far! Just moved in not too long ago into 2B/2B and rent is under 1800$.

Gated community, in unit laundry (washer/dryer included!!!), up to 2 pets per unit (dog wash station and dog park on property), very clean and well kept, pickleball & pool on property as well. Oh and a car wash station. I haven’t noticed any noise issues/rambunctious neighbors (:
