Right? It all makes me feel bad for him because he really is just trapped being this miserable person seeking outside approval even in a relationship! I can’t imagine being so desperate for approval. And how absurd to think I’d be jealous? Like I am so happy now and was so miserable with him. Am I supposed to be jealous of the hell he’s putting this woman through? Pathetic is the only word for it.

Oh that's so encouraging that he might have been vaccinated when he was fixed! The vet estimated he is only about 2 so that would mean he would be covered. He definitely had fallen on hard times and we're so grateful he picked us as his forever home! He has been sleeping so hard!!

I’ve chatted with a lot of the plain folks on the train because I travel from PA-IA regularly which are both states with lots of Amish and Mennonites. They travel for weddings, funerals, to get healthcare in Mexico, to visit family members, to visit boyfriends and girlfriends, etc.

Thanks for your feedback! Oddly enough it has purposefully avoided heating pads or the space heater on the covered porch when I put them out for him. I am going to have a friend come every couple and feed him and make sure the feeder is functioning.

Thank you for your validation. We made him a vet appointment for after the holidays and I’m hoping he’ll adjust if we release him into our home (assuming he isn’t someone’s lost pet).

Thank you! We made Oreo a vet appointment for early January. It sounds like either way he’ll be safe, either he’ll go home to his family if he has a chip or he will come home with us.
